We have just returned from a lovely allotment in Islington where we have installed one of our Disabled Access Compost Toilets. One of our we-pee customers - an ecological wastewater designer and compost toilet builder in New Zealand called Mike - has sent us these photos of a portable composting toilet box he has built with the we-pee urine separator. We have just donated another urine separator to this amazing person who builds homeless shelters for people in New Orleans. "Hey Paul Thank you again for donating the urine diverter to me. Today I gave the shelter away to a homeless person here in New Orleans. Two other homeless people have approached me so this January I will build another one. Here is our urine separator featuring in a fantastic project from Green Mountain College in Vermont, USA, that first came up with the OTIS - Optimal traveling Independent Space - and is working on the second version now. In relation to the second project, Simon James from the College wrote, "We are now working on the second iteration of the concept. We are improving on certain things and reusing other concepts. One of the designs that worked really well is the composting toilet we designed using your urine separator."
