Canary Islands DIY Composting Toilet
People are making their own compost toilets in a wide variety of settings all around the world. DIY Plans to Build a Compost Toilet
In addition to the Portable Composting Toilet Box plans that are already available for free, we are currently working on electronic downloads of plans for our larger stand-alone composting toilets, which will be available on the we-pee site soon. The Bog Standard and Gypsy Caravan composting toilets are very successful toilet designs that we have made for many individuals, campsites, allotments and institutions across the UK. DIY Compost Toilets - a global solution
The We-pee urine diverter was first developed in 2011 in Wales, UK, for use in our own composting toilet projects. We have since sold over 1,500 separators across the world to individuals and organisations building composting toilets in every corner of the globe. The list of countries that we have sent our separator to is growing all the time. Haiti children's project
The Germany children's charity Haiti Kinderhilfe has been using the we-pee urine separators in new composting toilet blocks that are part of a school and kindergarten building project in Haiti, where there is an urgent need for new educational buildings and sanitary facilities. In rural areas of Haiti where there is currently no electricity or infrastructure, composting toilets play a vital role in providing essential facilities that do not require any electricity or water.
