The We-pee urine diverter was first developed in 2011 in Wales, UK, for use in our own composting toilet projects. We have since sold over 1,500 separators across the world to individuals and organisations building composting toilets in every corner of the globe. The list of countries that we have sent our separator to is growing all the time. The Germany children's charity Haiti Kinderhilfe has been using the we-pee urine separators in new composting toilet blocks that are part of a school and kindergarten building project in Haiti, where there is an urgent need for new educational buildings and sanitary facilities. In rural areas of Haiti where there is currently no electricity or infrastructure, composting toilets play a vital role in providing essential facilities that do not require any electricity or water.
