One of our favourite kinds of customer messages: someone who's switched from another urine separator and is delighted with the upgrade.
"OMG I got it and it's SO MUCH BETTER than my last urine diverter!!! Thank you so much! I installed it in my school bus conversion. Truly SO much better and looks better too. THANK YOU!"

Compost toilets for vanlife and bus conversions
Vanlife and bus conversion projects are some of the most common use cases we ship separators for. The reasons aren't hard to figure out: no water tank to top up for flushing, no black-water tank to find a dump station for, no plumbing through the floor of a moving vehicle.
The key challenges are space (smaller separator footprint helps) and what to do with the collected urine. Most vanlife builds use a 10–20 litre jerry can with a screw-top lid that gets emptied every few days at a regular bin or campsite drain.
Building a vanlife compost toilet
For most van and bus conversions, our £31 original Urine Separator is the best fit — its smaller footprint suits tighter spaces and it's easier to integrate into a custom-built box. The £40 Complete Urine Separator includes a built-in metal filter to stop pipe blockages — useful if your outlet pipework is long or has tight bends.
